My name is Bjarke de Koning. I am 29 years old and I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. I work as a freelance editor.
Let me try and run you through my career really fast 
Got job at DDB Denmark. Super awesome creatice environment, great people and they took me on their commercial shoots and let me watch and learn in the editing suite. Got help from one of the writers on my application for The European Film College and got in. Edited about 12 shows and films including one of the Final Projects. Was hired as an assistant editor for editors Peter Brandt and Adam Nielsen working on feature films like Ghosts of Cité Soleil (by Asger Leth), Allegro and Offscreen (by Christoffer Boe) a bunch of commercials and I even edited a muscic video for Danish DR1. Soon after that I started as a full-time editor at Genmedia Group Aps editing and filming corperate productions. Did some freelance editing on the side for *** Film og TV and Thura Film. 2.5 years later I got a phone call from DR Fiction (Danish Broadcasting Corporation’s Fiction department) and worked there as an assistant editor for more than two years. Editing behind the scenes and what not. Started working full-time as a freelance editor editing a bunch of amazing programs. Still doing it and loving it.
