Jerr Boschee is head of the largest membership organization for social entrepreneurs in North America; the Social Enterprise Alliance - where mission meets the marketplace. Jerr Boschee will lecture about critical success factors for NGOs adopting entrepreneurial strategies (identified by the pioneers in the field), common stakeholder objections and give you examples of successful social enterprises. He has previously been a senior communications executive for a Fortune 100 company, managing editor for a chain of regional newspapers, a Peace Corps Volunteer in India, and a guest lecturer at numerous academic institutions, including Cambridge, Carnegie Mellon, Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Northwestern, Oxford, Stanford and others. Jerr served as President and CEO of The National Center for Social Entrepreneurs from 1991 to 1999, is one of the six co-founders of the Social Enterprise Alliance, and was named by The NonProfit Times to its nonprofit sector "Power & Influence Top 50" lists in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
