Meet Agel’s Newest Diamond Director Vera Menshikova
Our newest Russian Diamond, Vera Menshikova’s story is a living testiment to the fact that with Agel, belief, hard work, and dedication really are all it takes to be successful. Ms. Menshikova is a 45-year-old mother of two with some previous direct selling experience and a whole lot of heart.
“I was a network marketer at birth!” she exclaims. She goes on to explain, “I have a profound conviction that network marketing isn’t just a profession, it’s a way of life—the way of life for a free man! Agel is the kind of company you could only dream of.”
After years of trying her hand at network marketing, Vera was looking for something new, something big. She was looking and praying and open to finding it. She happened to sit down in a crowded café in a Moscow shopping mall right next to Agel Diamond Ata Mamedov and her prayers were answered.
She had heard of Mr. Mamedov by reputation in Russian network marketing circles, and when he began to tell her about his commitment to Agel, she knew she would be Agel, too. “It would take something really unique to attract an already successful leader like Ata,” she explains.
It was the beginning of summer, 2006. They began holding PBRs in the café. There was a terrible heat wave in Moscow at the time and people were crowding the cafés. Vera would invite total strangers to sit with her and explain her Agel business. “We made meetings...first at one table, then two, then three. By the end of June, we had over 80 people.” That’s when Triple Diamond Director Randy Gage made a trip to Moscow to investigate the sudden growth. Meeting with Randy had a dramatic impact on Vera and her team. “Randy Gage is the real sponsor for the growth of the business in Russia!” Vera exclaims!
But the work wasn’t done, it was just beginning. Vera took an apartment in Moscow so she could be with Ata and concentrate on her networking. Then she began traveling around Russia to share her vision of Agel.
In September of 2006, she made an excursion to five different cities in Siberia. She stayed with friends or contacts and subsisted on free cookies and other food she could get for free. Over the course of the next year she would make trips to five different regions in Russia to meet people at cafés, talk to people on the street, and tell everyone about Agel. “We simply worked a lot!” And that hard work paid off. “Today I have a bigger organization in Siberia and the Far East. I also have a super team here in [her hometown of] St. Petersburg.”
Vera’s WHY is her family. “I have two grown daughters. The youngest, Vlada, is a 19-year-old Agel Regional Director and is already making $5,000-6,000 a month! My older daughter, Yulia, is raising a small son, my grandson. And her husband, Sergey, is also a Director in Agel.” Vera's husband is an artist and a composer who supports her in her work. “I dream of buying a big estate on the shores of the Gulf of Finland, surrounded by a forest of pine trees.... My family and I love to travel and enjoy life and this is simple to do with Agel.”
Vera’s advice to the rest of us is simply to speak up. She has shared her enthusiasm about Agel with total strangers over the past two years wherever she has gone. It is the secret to her success. “Agel is, in all actuality, a simple business! ...share the joy and opportunity that is Agel. People are waiting for you! You have much to offer!”
Join us in congratulating the remarkable success of Ms. Vera Menshikova, from St. Petersburg, Russia. Поэдравления!!
