Major performance enhancements
------------------------------
Version 3.0.0 has been reprogrammed to boost performance in the way it
handles emails. Emails read from Exchange are now retrieved differently from
previous versions - and in cases with large emails it can boost performance up
and beyond 1.000 percent compared to previous versions.

Version 3.0.0 also introduces a brand new caching engine that amongst other
things caches scanning results in a predefined time period. This also boosts
performance greatly in cases where an email has more than one recipient
located on the same Exchange server.

A third performance enhancement is the introduction of the new "General
Filter". This filter can stop scanning of large emails (default threshold is
100 KB) that is unlikely to be spam.

Finally version 3.0.0 enables you to disable the use of email headers to
store processing results. This option should however, only be used when all
other options for performance enhancements has been exhausted.

Integration with VIRUSfighter
-----------------------------
SPAMfighter Exchange Module now features an option to also scan emails for
viruses. Spamfighter Exhange Module also contains extra features, such as optional email virus scanner

The already well-proven scanning engine VIRUSfighter has been integrated
into SPAMfighter Exchange Module version 3.0.0 - and scans emails for virus
at the earliest possible entry point- all incoming emails at SMTP levels are scanned for viruses.

In those cases Microsoft Exchange Server
chooses to bypass this level, emails are also scanned at mailbox level.

For maximum security, if just one recipient has been enabled for virus scans
 in the Administration Interface - VIRUSfighter scans the email. If a
virus is found you can choose to either replace the email with a safe
content or refuse delivery altogether.
