Go to preferences - find the "stock-group" in which product no. 1000 is placed.

You must tell e-conomic in which account it should put things You buy.

The default stock account in the default chart of accounts is called 5520 as far as i remember.

You must also set up an account for cost of sales - use direct costs 1310 for that.
