Hello,

First of all I apologize for not writing in Danish, but I do not know the language at a good enough level for this conversation.

I just opened a CVR and intend to work occasionally as a maintenance technician for a company where I used to be an employee until recently.
It is my understanding that a liability insurrance is necessary, what Danish companies would you recommend?

You will lose your VAT deduction and can get closed, as especialle when you were employed same place, you are an employee and it is in DK not a free choice. Your employer will lose deduction of YOUR VAT and have to pay all missing taxes from you, and will likely get fined

I understand, but I was the one who offered my services as a freelancer to my former employer, they did not request it, surely that can't be an issue.

I would not mention if it was not very much an issue. Why dont you write to SKAT as logged in and ask? Sure Uber and Wolt did not think it was an issue - but - yes, it was very very much  It is ALL up to all the conditions in my link. Otherwise all employee could avoid being drawn in tax and have lots of deductions an employee can never have

I did not consider it to be of significance since less than 20h would be invoiced every 3 months or so, but thank you for your answer! It probably prevented a lot of future issues.

its not the amount. Wolt bringing out food were not big amounts - but log into TAX and write them . inform them just as you did here to feel more sure

The biggest risk is on the employer . for you it is the risk if you have any costs which an employee are not allowed
