I am in the United Kingdom and I am using Google Translate. Forgive me. In Holland, some banks send statement data automatically to third parties. |
Hi There
Unfortunately there are pretty limited options on this in Denmark, but there are a few. All danish banks are using one of 5-6 bank-service-providers. (Danske Bank, Nordea, SDC, BankData, BEC ..)
Most banks do offer EDI solutions, but that is mainly EDIFACT and only within VPN connections and at a very high cost! So some big corporations and serviceproviders use this, but not any SME companies.
The "normal" integration between SME company and the bank are CSV files, and manuelly up-download.
So the user have to open their web-bank-client and upload outbound files (payment orders) / download inbound files (statements etc). All danish bank offer this in one way or another.
There are a few openings like you talk about though.
- Danske Bank and Nordea has some (OLD solutions) http://www-2.danskebank.dk/api
Most relevant
(In Finland they have enforced a web-service based up & download service)
- Danske Bank are providing the SAME service in DK. http://www-2.danskebank.com/webservicemain
- Nordea have a couple of times told me that the are about to relase the same solution in DK - but not released yet... Please put some presure on them ;-)
- Other bank-service providers are looking into this but have not released anything - because "they don't see customer demand..."
So to answer your question. Danske Bank is the only one that can do this for SME companies - you have to use the "secret" ws solution.
Please let me know how it goes, as we're looking into this also, but we have not yet a client using DanskBank that want to pay for such a module. We have quite a few using Nordea though, but Nordea is not ready....
