starting a website like sweetdeal

i am planning to start a website like sweetdeal , i would liek to know the yor option about it , my site will be better then design with iphone app and big marketing team , please share your views 

you are right but  the site is very poorly designed , and by  having big marketing team its possible to cover a few potion of it as Cph is full of restaurants

But it is more important to be the first commercial mover!

Sweetdeal has a great reputation and lots of satisfied customers, both b2b and b2c. A better design would not increase the interest of your site - you can't just clone the concept and think it will work becouse you have a big marketing team.

As i said before, i think it will require more than that. See the market in a new revolutionary way and take the groupon to v2.0 instead of just making a clone.

I´m afraid you are mistaken there, as those sites actually are pretty perfect as the serve the wishes from both customers and companies.

No big marketingteam can assist you in achieving better performance in this field, and remember who is behind SweetDeal, they have a lot of customers.

And what will you do if you make a nicer looking site? Who cares if you have noone to mail to?

Domain sharks like me might grab it, but I don´t find the name exciting, so I won´t register it
