http://dev.communityserver.com/forums/

Hi,
Martin Thorborg of http://www.amino.dk/forums/ asked me to report this big bad RSS problem that we are seeing since the 2008.5 upgrade.
So, basically what happens is that old threads keep reemerging in the RSS feeds as though they were new.
Let's have a look:
If you want to keep up to speed with new threads in the 'Internet Marketing og salg' category, you go to the bottom of that page and click RSS-feed.
The feed for that category is here: http://www.amino.dk/forums/rss.aspx?ForumID=34&Mode=0
Now, if you look at that feed by putting the url in the adress bar of Internet Explorer 7, everything is fine. The threads are listed cronologically as they should be.
But if you use a feed reader like Google Reader, you will see that all is a big mess. Every day the reader will show something like 18 new threads and they are not new - they are old news.
The reason for this I cant tell you, but it might be related to the fact that if you do a view source of the feed, everything is chaotic - not ordered cronologically.
There might be other reasons too of course. I am not an expert on the subject.
The real problem here is that RSS subscription is the only good way to keep up with new threads in community server. And now that has gone.
Other then that I really like the features over your new version, I should not forget to say! :-)
Please please have a look at this one - it means a lot to all us RSS subscribers at amino.dk!
