I am building hellofapartner.com, a free catalog of manufacturers with a no-login /check tool that reads open-data signals on any company (domain age, web history, mail setup) so a buyer can vet a supplier before paying. Two things that helped the classic marketplace cold-start: filling verifiable company data ourselves instead of waiting for signups, and writing one honest answer-first page per "how to verify a supplier in X" question.
