Jeg har fået denne besked: Your account has been blocked from selling on Amazon.de marketplace, using FBA services in Germany (including Pan-EU and CEE FBA programs) and from shipping orders to German based customers because your German Tax Certificate was not uploaded and verified by the deadline. According to German VAT legislation, online marketplaces must obtain a German tax certificate from sellers:
* selling from locations in Germany * selling to customers in Germany.
According to the Value Added Tax Act, item 5.) according to § 19 UStG, even small entrepreneurs must apply for a tax certificate to the responsible tax office (§ 22f para. 1 sentence 2 UStG), so that you can operate electronically on platforms/marketplaces (e.g.: Amazon.de).
Individuals who occasionally sell items are not exempted from this scheme.
However, sales partners are responsible for the settings and content posted. This also applies to compliance with all legal concerns.
It is up to the sales partners to verify that and to what extent you comply with your legal obligations regarding your listings and the information in your seller profile. Amazon will not be responsible for incorrectly calculated orders based on the fact that the settings are out of date. Sellers are solely responsible for ensuring that their information and settings are at all times accurate and up-to-date.
Therefore, if you are unsure whether and to what extent you are fulfilling your tax obligations as a seller, we recommend that you consult a legal advisor or a legal advisor for a more detailed analysis. You can reinstate your account by uploading a copy of your German Tax Certificate. Det lyder som om du sender til amazon's tyske lager og de sender til slutkunden og i det tilfælde skal du have et tysk momsnummer. Det har Amazon også skrevet til dig flere gange i løbet af efteråret er jeg sikker på. Hvis du sender direkte til slutkunden fra Danmark så skal du ikke have tysk momsnummer.

Siden 1. januar 2019 har der været en stramning i den tyske lovgivning omkring hvilke informationer, som e-handelsplatforme skal indsamle om dere brugere.
Det svarer meget godt til de krav, som Amazon.de har stillet her. Det gælder også for udenlandske virksomheder og som jeg husker at have set det i hin tid, kan det betyde at man skal have en bekræftelse fra de tyske skattemyndigheder om at man opfylder betingelserne for at være fritaget for moms.
Jeg så det omtalt i 2018 første gang. Det er iøvrigt en praksis som andre EU-lande har tænkt sig at indføre her i 2020.
