Hi Amino. I have a simple question. I have a private vehicle, which I am also using for the needs of my privately owned single man company. I have made 2 Shell benzin cards, one that i use for private purposes, one that i use when I use car for the company needs. I wonder if this is the right way to do it, or do i need to have car registered on the company specifically? (I dont want any troubles if at some point SKAT comes and asks me why do my company has a gas bills when it doesn't owe a car) If i do have to have it on the company, what is the most painless way to transfer the car from being privatly owned to be company owned? For example, if i want to convert my company to APS, and have the car to be a part of a 50.000 kroner startup capital, what should be done, what is the cheapest option? Just to make it clear one more time, I am not talking about SKAT deductions here, I am talking about simple bills that i am having for the gasoline, will there be any issues that company is having bills for the gas, while it does not actually owe a vehicle? Thanks, Igor |

Hi Igor,
This cannot be done this way.
All you can do is deduct driven kilometres for the company at the predefined rates from SKAT.
The first 20,000 kms driven is set at a rate of DKK 3,54, which you would normally pay out, when employed. However, since you are not employed, this is more difficult. You have to keep books and make a receipt (tax deductment) saying that you have driven a total of xxxx kms in your company service and therefore you can deduct yyyy kr.
If you make an ApS, then you can make the above with your monthly paycheck.
It is quite difficult to use your car as investment in your ApS, but it can probably be done. Better is to start an IVS, where you dont need more than 100 kr for a start and you can make payments for driving in your own car directly to yourself.
