Der er mange flere tilfeller som dette. her er et til
A buyer won an auction for 1500, and the item was shipped to the buyer overseas. The money was transferred with no problems. I moved the money into my bank account. We shipped the package ASAP and gave the buyer their tracking number. After we gave the buyer the tracking number and the item was conveniently in route, we get an email from another ebay account saying his paypal account got hacked into and that he did not make the purchase.
What appears to have happened was the “verified” eBay account was hacked and then used another hacked “verified” PayPal account. Once the auction was won we double and triple checked what mailing address the “verified” winner wanted the item shipped to.
Of course paypal was no help in trying to retrieve the package, we asked for their help and they told us they could not do anything. So we attempted to get a USPS intercept request, but that ultimately failed and the package was delivered.
During this time we were assured that since both accounts were hacked into and they were valid that this was not our fault and we would be covered. The story quickly changed once we were not able to retrieve the package. Their excuse was that we did not ship to a verified address.
They then took 1500 out of my account and now our paypal is -1500 in the hole. Every victim was covered except for us. we made attempts to talk to a few managers and different people. Before the case was closed they were happy to assist us. Now it seems we are a nuisance to them. I just want our money back!
I opened an account, verified a debit card, verified an E*Trade bank account, verified my email address, verified my mobile phone number, downloaded PayPal.app and scanned in a debit card and successfully transferred money INTO my PayPal account. Then, when I won an eBay bid and tried to pay for it, PayPal cancelled the transaction and froze my account. I cannot even log in now! I called on a one-time-use telephone code and was told I had to supply a federally recognized photo ID, a photocopy of a bank statement, my social security number and more. I was told to upload it after logging in via their “Resolution Center” but, you guessed it, I can’t log in! So even if I wanted to submit all that information I can’t. I wouldn’t trust paypal with my supermarket rewards card! In the phone call they said that I would have to wait 180 days to get my money ON DEPOSIT WITH THEM back! KompleteUltraBS!

og mere- en rigtig horror story
Today without warning Paypal "closed" my account with $5,772.91 dollars in it. They say on the website and in several calls I made to them that they will not release the money due to a routine credit scan they made and didn't like what they read in my equifax credit report.
What closed means by their definition is I can't take the money out and I earn no interest on the money for 6 months. Almost 2 months have gone by since this happened and this is still the situation. They say when I signed up for Paypal I signed a standard agreement that says they can freeze the money in my account any time they want to. I strongly suspect they are earning interest on the money and, in effect, this is a scam on their part to make millions of dollars. I have 100% positive feedback as a seller on eBay (which owns paypal) and I've sold over 100 items. I have a feedback score of 86 with many of these being repeat business that doesn't cause the feedback number to increase. The money was frozen from an auction in which all the winning bidders gave me positive feedback except for one non-paying bidder in Italy who never sent the money despite repeated emails so, of course, I never sent him the item. (The amount of the non-paying bidder is $500.00 --- but since he never sent any money by Paypal or any other means I fail to see how this could play a roll in the "closed" account).
Periodic non-paying bidders are, unfortunately, a fact of life on eBay --- fortunately a rare one in my experience. The other eight winning auctions of the "freeze" auction all gave me not just positive but glowing feedbacks saying they both received the items I sent them and were extremely happy with them. Without the money from PayPal there is a very good chance I will lose my family home as well as my mother's home we are attempting to bring up to code. I, my wife, and two sons have lived in our family home for around 18 years. My mother, before she was institutionalized lived in her house (with my father, me and my sister in the earlier days) for around 50 years. We were planning on renting out my mother's house to help pay for the expenses of her staying at Alzheimer Gated communities which charge $3,500.00 a month and more.
Ironically, before this happened, I was a big fan of Paypal..
sånn kan man fortsette og fortsette i det uendelige.
