I am an engineer from Denmark who has made an invention (pat.pend) that you might find interresting. I have developed the "Variator" (please visit www.innoactive.dk ) which is a pure mechanical unit . It can generate oscillary movements and can be used for testing springs, expansion joints,bellows, vibration absorbers and other products exposed to vibration or the like. The advantages of my invention is that you can adjust both amplitude(or stroke) and frequency totally independent of each other without using tools and while the test system /bench is running. That means that you can run tests with high amplitude and low frequency - vice versa and any possible combination of theese two parameters within the working field of the Variator (depending on Variator size). The existing Variator is available in three different sizes with the following datas: Type A1: Maximum freq. : 100 HZ, Stroke/amplitude : Stepless adjustable between 0 mm and 8 mm. Maximum permitted load on connecting rod : 15 kN . Type B1: Maximum freq. : 50 HZ, Stroke/amplitude : Stepless adjustable between 0 mm and 15 mm. Maximum permitted load on connecting rod : 50 kN. Type C1: Maximum freq. : 45 HZ, Stroke/amplitude : Stepless adjustable between 0 mm and 25 mm. Maximum permitted load on connecting rod : 80 kN . I am cooperating with a local machine works in Esbjerg , Denmark who takes care of manufacturing the Variator and the test benches where the Variator is applied.
