New website for timber trade - global

I do not know if it is only me who thought about the following - but would not it be cool to have the ability to swap / sell / buy various pieces of timber from other continents / countries than you live in.

I am almost jealous when I see the exquisite and exotic pieces of lumber people work with. I have worked with most species hard wood found in Denmark.

So I ask just whether it could be worthwhile to start a project involving the above mentioned topic.

Simply all kinds of timber for any purpose. Guitarnecks, slingshots, knifehandles ect..
