Made in China? Made in P.R.C?

Based on the case currently we deal with one client from Netherlands,   and he got the issue with " made in china" tag, we found one solution for him which worked out. I posted it here hope can help importers on Amino  if you have same concern. 

 “Made-in-China” products have been standing for “Cheap products” for long time. Although after years, many factories in China has improved their quality a lot, they invested loads of money in machines, improved material and trained workers` skill etc, “ Made in China” still have no-good reputation in lots of people`s opinion. For sure, some factories in China can manage to produce world-class quality products now, but many end consumers worldwide still have “poor quality” impression for “Made in China” tag when they do shopping which lead them not buy it. As a trader/importer, of course has responsibility for good quality of products, but how to smooth people`s impression when they choose products. Small tip, you can ask your suppliers tag products with “ Made in P.R.C” instead of” Made in China”, ( it is same, P.R.C= people republic of China, but not so well-known as “ Made in China) .This is not about “ cheat on your customers”, it is more like do not let people`s old impression of “Made in China”=Cheap quality effect on sales( sales of good quality products in fact which you imported).
