For the last 8 years, my company has been importing Food products from the UK and USA to Denmark, and selling them to private customers (via a webshop) with reasonable success. The company is called foodfromhome.dk and our sales are based on products that are not currently available in Denmark.

In general, most danes are pro-british/American, and many have a "softspot" for our products and culture. With foodfromhome being an instant success from day 1,it was only a matter of time before we moved on....

Now, 8 years on, its time for me to expand the business, and concentrate more on selling wholesale to the commercial sector. After months of market research, and the birth of a new B2B website, we are almost ready to go. With a selection of at least 200 products as a starting point, they have already been tried and tested on many retail outlets who currently buy from us.Next month sees us moving to bigger storage facilities to cope with the volume.

We have a couple of hundred products aimed at the retail sector(Flower shops, Wine Shops, Gift Shops etc), and we have had nothing less than positive reaction from all our contacts up until now.The commercial website will have a different name than foodfromhome.dk, a whole new range of speciality products, and a more coperate identity. The site should be finished tomorrow.

In the first instance, It is our aim, to be able to find 30 -40 retail outlets throughout Denmark, who will be willing to sell a selection of our Classic British & American goods. Shouldn´t be that difficult, as 90% of our US food customers ARE Danes !!!

My problem at the moment, is that I am needing someone to help me get this off the ground. I am looking for someone with the ability to market and sell our range of exclusive products to the retail sector. Not just a travelling salesman. Somebody who can join our team, and put this business where it should be.

Being English, its somewhat difficult to understand many aspects of the sales techniques in denmark, structure etc. This is why Danish input is a MUST.

Its not just a salesman/woman I am looking for, but someone who can come and join the company, taking it to the next level, with a view to a possible shareholding / partnership in the future.

I have tried the usual jobnet etc, but never seem to get anything else but a bunch of clowns. I need someone who can SEE the potential opportunity in my operation, and someone who is willing to help me make this work.
