Thanks for the suggestion, its just my initials and then the word repair. Was the first thing that came to mind. I will have a re-think about it

A bit of topic, however I think you have to re-think your name (jgcrepair.com) - nobody can remember it, so direct search is needed everytime a customer is trying to find you.

Just to update, so far i have removed the background picture as it was making a lot of text hard to read as mentioned. The facebook stats are gone and i have managed to put more of the page into Danish. I am now writing the about me section and will get my partner to translate it later and add it in.

Its my first website so i am also reading up on how to better my SEO and have seen a few ways to do this. You guys are great, its another reason why i love denmark. I would never get any useful responses if i was still in the UK

First off thank you all for your feedback, its awesome.

To answer a few questions, the domain with the website builder and the email was bought from godaddy who are running a promo for the first year. My plan is to just be with them for that time and then switch to a better service.

Mads, you are totally correct my aim was to have it all in Danish but in an effort to get more money out of me there are certain limitations to what i can edit.

Rasmus, thank you so much for your detailed feedback, i was not sure if i should have an about me section explaining about myself but i will for sure put that in now. The text running off to the right seems to be a limitation to mobile devices but i will tweak it and try and get it looking better.

You are correct that I am way below market price, but totally right that i should explain why i am qualified to do these things and why people should trust me. I will also remove the facebook stats thing as well now until I have a better following, it was just a pre loaded widget with the template.

Apologies that i was late with this reply i was out most of the day yesterday. Thank you all again so much for your opinion i hope that you can see that I value all of them and will make changes where possible.

Dear JC,

As I loaded your webpage, I was determined not to give feedback on the layout, but stick to feedback regarding content. I can't do that entirely though. I am no expert in conversion optimization, but in my opinion, your site is a bit messy (in the sence that items don't fit all that well together) and it doesn't seem to fit the frames. In the "services" category, I can't read the entire text, as it runs off the edge to the right. So site-wise, it doesn't really appeal too much to me. But if it does to you then I'm sure that it will to many others :)

Going to the content side of you site, I think it's missing quite a lot. What are your USP's, why should you be the one to fix my thing? Maybe you are way below market price and that's reason enough, but if I don't save a lot on using you, I don't really get the "JGCRepair story" as to why I should call you.

You link to your Facebook stats, but right now, you have one like. That's not really doing anything good for the trust. I would remove that completely. Either for good or if you must, untill you got 100+ likes.

Speaking SEO-wise, your page is missing a lot. No H1, H2, Description, Favicon, too much coding, no Analytics, etc. But that might be for the 2.0 :)

In my humble opinion, I think you should go simple. Get a Wordpress template that suits you. Focus on your solid product and low prices. Let's see cases, behind-the-scenes and the good service you provide. Keep it honest and professional.

Where did you buy? Normaly, if you buy domain from eg. Meebox.net, .dk-ending costs 69 kroner and .com-ending costs 199 kroner?

Thanks for your reply I have fixed the logo position now. Apologies that I write in English I have recently moved to Denmark from England and so far only had 2 Danish lessons.

As far as the .com address goes I went with the cheaper option in all honesty, it would have cost nearly 3 times as much to have it ending in .dk

I will start on your other comments now, thank you again for your feedback, its so great to have more than 1 set of eyes on this.

1) Siden er på Dansk, men domæne .com. Hvorfor?

2) Når nu siden er på Dansk, og din side, hvorfor skriver du så på Engelsk herinde?

3) Logoet sidder helt malplaceret på min browser. http://prntscr.com/527uw9

4) Baggrunden og teksten passer ikke helt sammen. Det er en anelse irriterende for øjnene at læse.

Og så en sidste ting. Placeringen af indlægget er helt hen i vejret. Det samme med din overskrift. Jeg kiggede ikke de første mange gange, fordi jeg antog det blot var en spammer. Så tænk lige lidt mere over dem en anden gang. :)
