As to payment, I think you should have a look into a combined QuickPay and Euroline solution.

Euroline pricing is individual! But usually you don't pay any sign-up fee, no monthly nor any yearly fee. You do pay a small commission per sale, typically around 2% of the billed amount. Note, that the billed amount is including VAT.

You could be up and running for DKK 150 a month and your only initial investment will be correcting your webshop to use Quickpay - unless you use quickpay already.

The usage of Dankort without VISA/Dankort is around 10% and the banks are starting to phase out that type of card.

Sounds perfect, I like this idea a lot!

There were a thread on Amino a month or two back, where people talked about Moneybookers and Dankort. The conclusion was that the logo put on Moneybookers site is NOT indicating that they accept Dankort, but only VISA/Dankort.

Someone emailed Moneybookers about it, in which they replied that they weren't able to accept Dankort.

Its actually true that the VISA/Dankort is huge, i think we have more than 2 million cards of that ( i can't remember the source - sorry!).

But i know, i my shop MaxiWeb, that we actually have many who told me that i needed to accept dankort, and i loose orders in the start - so there is still many pure dankort :)

Actually i'm no longer sure about MoneyBookers, because i can see this view too, that the wrote pure Dankort.

Maybe we should check them out, to see if its a mistake or not :) Btw, i have NO experience with moneybookers, i just hear about it.

I don't know the details, I just know that there is a "pure" Dankort logo in Moneybookers Prestashop module. Anyways, VISA/Dankort has pretty much replaced the "old" Dankort.

Exatly! The only way to accept the pure Dankort, is by making a deal to PBS, OR using Ewire - which we are doing with succes at MaxiWeb. Actually we have many there are using it at our site :-)

But i agree with you! Denmark is a awful country to run a business online.. If just everything was easy like Paypal, it could be a rich country :O

I would recommend Moneybookers. Your customers will be able to use Dankort (and of course other credit cards) without having to register them selves as users on Moneybookers website (unlike Paypal).

As for the CVR number, I would run it privately if your income doesn't exceed DKK 50.000 /year. But then you wouldn't be able to use Moneybookers as they require you to have a CVR number.

I don't know about Paypal.

You could use for example QuickPay/ePay with Euroline instead of PBS.
you wont be able to serve customers having only a Dankort, but Visa/Dankort isnt a problem.

Afaik it's free to use Euroline, but they charge a bit higher fees for every transaction.

Another possibility is using moneybookers or paypal as paymentgateway :-)

Just found out that I have lost the 4500kr i paid to accept dankort and international cards in my business because i am forced to change it into my fiancés name
This is what happens when being forced to leave denmark due to inhumane immigration laws

So this is what is lost;

We may have to now close NaturligeProdukter.dk as we can't afford to get dankort again.

Because we earn less than 50 000kr a year on NaturligeProdukter.dk,

Should I maybe close the business and run NaturligeProdukter.dk privately?

then I wouldn't need to have a bookkeeper and run regnskab right?

And I could run a bit cheaper but lose a lot of customers :(

What are my options?
