Established in late 2013 with the ambition of designing and producing Bodystockings at high quality and at affordable prices – as an alternative to high-end producers. It is ready to wear clothing (not lingerie) and our customers can find a bodystocking for every occasion – whether for basic wear, a shirt or a Friday evening in town with friends

As the name of the company (Thebodystocking.com) indicates the focus until now has been 100% on producing the best bodystocking on the market…over time the intention is to expand the concept to other relevant product categories such as stockings.

The strategy is to focus 100% on online sales and the business case is based on this strategy. We have experienced strong interest from Danish consumers (with limited marketing effort) and we are thus confident in a significant international potential - however, to realize the potential a focused on-line marketing strategy is needed. And it needs to be executed 100%...

The "conservative roll-put" plan shows a total of 23.000 units sold per year with a pre-tax profit of ~2M DKK. A more "optimistic roll-out" plan shows a total of 40.000 units sold per year with a pre-tax profit of 5M DKK. More details of business plan can be shared upon request.The capital required to realize the plan is between 1-1,5M DKK over a three year period.

Thebodystocking is established by Mia Kjersner and Linnea Andersen.

Mia has a strong supply chain and operations bacground from companies such as Novo Nordisk, Nilfisk and Implement Consulting Group. Mia is overall responsible for all aspects of supply chain, quality, finance etc.

Linnea Andersen has a design background and is strong when it comes to designing high quality textiles at reasonable production prices.

As a team Linnea and Mia can cover all aspects of supply chain, production, design and quality assurance.

However, in order to realize the full potential of Thebodystocking, we realize that we need very competent people with on-line experience. People who can help devise the right strategy and also implement it in cooperation with us.
